Delegates of the Jharsuguda Yuva Sangh today formally submitted a memorandum to the Jharsuguda District Collector, Chavan Kunal Motiram, IAS, urging the district administration to initiate the construction of a statue in honour of the late Kishore Kumar Mohanty.
The memorandum highlights Late Sri Kishore Kumar Mohanty's contributions to local infrastructure, including his role in the integrated sports complex and regional connectivity, have left an indelible mark on the district. The Jharsuguda Yuva Sangh requested that the administration identify a prominent location within the city for the statue to inspire future generations with his legacy of social service.
The Collector acknowledged the receipt of the memorandum and assured the delegation that the proposal would be reviewed in accordance with administrative guidelines.
