On 10.11.2025 afternoon an elderly lady (Lopamudra Sahu, 76 yrs) was murdered in her residence at village Attabira under Rengali PS. After committing murder, unknown culprit has robbed cash and gold ornaments from the lady who was alone at her residence. Acting upon forensic and digital clues, Rengali police could able to cracked the case and arrested the involved accused Mahadev Patra of Rengali today i.e. 15.11.2025 with recovery of robbed cash and Gold ornaments. Receiver of stolen gold ornaments, Rajkumar Ray, the owner of “Sobhajit Jwellers” Belpahar has also been arrested in this case and is being forwarded to Court.
