Jharsuguda being one of the oldest Railway Link is falling under three railway divisions namely South Eastern Railways , South Central Eastern Railways & East Coast Railways . The life line of Jharsuguda depends upon the proper functioning of Rails as more than fifty percent of people are dependent on the railways for their daily needs and conveyance . In addition to passenger service , the Railway Mail Service at Jharsuguda is giving hasslefree services for proper and quick dispatch , receipt of mails . But , it is learnt that , the existing RMS is going to be merged with National Sorting Hub ( NSH ) , Sambalpur . This decision will create dislocation of postal delivery services across the postal region .
Keeping in view to the resentment among local people of Jharsuguda and for proper postal delivery management , Jharsuguda MLA Naba Kishore Das writes to Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw requesting him for new ICH or NSH at Jharsuguda Station.
