The 9th State Pencak Sillat Championship was concluded

 The 9th State Pencak Sillat Championship was concluded at Biju Patnaik Indoor Sports Complex, Anugul. 120 Participants from 10 District of Odisha participated in the State Championship held on Dt 9th and 10th May of 2026. Sri Braja Pradhan, Hon'ble M L A, Talcher joined as the Chief Guest of the Inaugural Session and Sri Aakhya Kumar Samanta, Chairman, Anugul Municipality joined as the Chief Guest of the Closing Ceremony, with him Smt Padmini Singh, President, H R Assn, Dr. Prof Jayashree Nayak of I G I T, Anugul , Sri Pyarelal Sriwastab, Dist Correspondent, Sanmarg, Jsg joined 

as the Guests. The prize giving ceremony was presided by Tapas Kumar Roy Choudhury, President, Pencak Sillat Assn, Odisha, Guru Prem Singh Thapa initiated the aims and objects of Pencak Sillat, Bhabani Sahu assisted to make the tournament smooth in Presence of Rajesh Dash, Sudhansu Panda, Pr & Secy, Anugul P S A. Asutosh Nayak joined as the Chief of Referee and Jitendra Rout joined as the Technical Head of Tournament. Among 10 District Khorda get 3rd Position where as Sundargarh get the Runners Up and Jharsugudda became the Champion of the Championship 🏆. Congratulations to all the winners of the State Championship.
