a major anti-illicit liquor operation was conducted in Mohanpur and Ujalpur villages under Belpahar PS. The raid was jointly carried out by teams of Belpahar PS and Lakhanpur PS with support from Brajrajnagar Police and armed force in the presence of the Executive Magistrate.

- 09 persons involved in illegal liquor manufacturing and sale apprehended
- Seizure: 722 litres illicit Mahua liquor, 47 quintals Mahua flower, 10 kg urea and other brewing materials
- Approx 12 quintals fermented Mahua pocha destroyed on the spot
